The Nocturne Series

John Freeman's evocative Nocturne studies are becoming much sought after.

His ability to weave a "story" of light and dark, warm and cool into the fabric of a Dales village or a North Yorkshire farm is now a very distinctive part of his collectable works.

These very complex studies are causing much interest and commissions for original watercolours in this series stretch into 2000. Recent TV coverage has brought a wider awareness of these striking paintings to an audience who already have a love of the Yorkshire scene.
