Whitby Harbour 20x14

When producing a painting and print of Whitby is very difficult not to look at the old East Side of the town with the Abbey perched above the rooftops. However, this study captures the other magnificent aspect of the town. The distant headland at Sandsend, a full 3 miles away, is the most distant point in the study. At your feet are the rooftops of Henrietta Street overlooking the busy harbour and the river Esk. The harbour itself is depicted bustling with keelboats, cobles, the Esk dredger and even a visiting restored herring drifter, 'The Reaper' from Fife. 20" x 14" Limited Edition Print Actual prints are titled and signed by the artist.
